SMALL BIOGRAPHY

Born in Santander de Quilichao, Colombia

Her original name is Maria Josefa but her nick name is "Mona Saa". When she was a little girl, her family moved to Popayan where she spent most of her life unitl she got married fifty years ago. Mona developed interest on handgrafted items since she was a young so she learned sewing and  knitle crochet to decorate  many things in her house. She created such beautiful  items with her hands that she started to get orders for other people. Right now, Mona´s creations and designs are unique, and her  handmade collars and bracelets using this new material called TAGUA, are a total success.
