Because more freshwater perals produced per shell-up to 40, they are more afforable ans it's easier to find nearly identical pearls to create matched strands. Pearls are the most feminine and classy stone for any occasion. Any extreme temperature can damage pearls over time, and perfumes, cosmetics, hair products and similar items can also damage pearls.
